Allison says these are called 'salvia'. I call them 'saliva'. I'm almost positive this irrates her.

That's a bluebonnet. It's the state flower of Texas. And thanks to the geneticists at my school (Texas A&M University) they now also come in Maroon.

Great pic, just beautiful.
It´s how we call in Brazil, too: Salvia. It´s used as spice, mainly for cooked chicken.

Yup Salvia is supposed to make you high, my friend tried it, I dont know if that's the same plant.

actually salvia is more a trip than a high. Me and my friends have smoked it a good amount of times, it's kind of tricky to smoke and it doesn't work on some people. Some people react heavily and others don't. Me and my friends could only describe the effects of salvia as "it just feels like some isn't right" as in how you perceive things.

That is better then calling them 'Silvia' because they remind you of an ex-girlfriend of the same name. I am sure Allison would be happy to have you call them 'saliva' after you mention that.

Not all salvias have the effects above described, only Salvia divinorum works.
